Life Transitions

Are you at a crossroads in your life?

Improve relationships. So many couples are getting divorced these days and doubtless you've suffered the pain of a broken relationship at some point. Grief is natural and appropriate and the impact of the loss of someone close to you does take time to heal. However, if continuing anguish and grief are preventing you from moving on with your life then, in addition to the loving support of those who care about you, you may need a little outside help too.

Mid-life transition. When there are more years behind you than there probably are ahead it can be quite a shock to realise that all of the effort and sometimes sacrifice, doesn't have the same priority any more. You can discover that your needs have completely changed and you just can't go on in the same old way. At times this is totally life-changing and there can be guilt, hurt and pain as well as a brightening new vision. I can assist and support you as you navigate this difficult phase of life, handling your mixed feelings and maintaining your integrity, hope, clarity and focus

Empty nest. When most of your adult life has revolved around your children: the fun, your fears for them, the joy of their accomplishments, your hopes for their future, the sleepless nights when they were little (and as teenagers!) have been at the centre of your life. Now they have adult lives of their own, and while you may well have a role there, it just isn't the same. This raises a host of doubts and fears. How will you fill the void they've left behind? What purpose does your life have now? These can be difficult issues to deal with and sometimes you are so close to the problem and so caught up in the sorrow or emptyness that it's hard to get past it. It can help to have someone to talk this through with and assist you with the emotional confusion.

Perhaps you're having difficulty coming to grips with why you're not happy, confused about what you really want instead and what you should do next.
